The Challenge

When people think of local government programs, they don’t think of marketing. Before 2016, The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation was no different. Like many local programs, they operated a small community interest agency with a tiny online footprint as one section of a typical city website.

The content was difficult to manage, users struggled to find what they were looking for, and there was absolutely no marketing analytics to describe how well they were reaching their stakeholders.

But, thanks to good leadership and a bigger vision, the City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation realized they needed a marketing website that was easy to manage and able to sell their community on the incredible opportunities they offered.

The Solution

The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation are amazing at managing parks and developing fun recreation programs. They aren’t website experts and they were smart enough to admit it. That’s why, for the past 5 years, they’ve used R/nd to handle the daily management of their website.

We have developed an improvement plan that is designed to incrementally improve their website along with a schedule and budget that they can handle. We continually utilize user research programs to identify user needs and always work to build an easy to use, resident-focused website experience that shows the community the amazing programs the City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation has to offer all year round.
